Dear Backers,
It's been a while since we shared an update, so here's some good news from the rednomads team.
All the custom-made fabrics for settle are now in our factory! Two types of fabrics in three custom colours were especially made for us; and all the coatings to make them UV-resistant and stain- and water-repellent were dispatched to us on schedule.
So now we can start with the embroidery to create the two beautiful quilting patterns, as a first step of the actual manufacturing process.
With this development, and positive outlook for the next steps, we wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2024!

Dear backers,
in yesterday's update for our last call to make final adjustments to your order, you will find a major error in our date. It has to be 15th of November 2023!!! Sorry for that!
We don't know how this could have happened, but maybe it's just the speed of the end of the year and the many tasks that have to be completed these days. We hope you are not rushed on your end and that you can enjoy the upcoming festivities at this time of year.
We wish you all the best and will update you soon from the heart of our production facility in December.

Last Call for final updates to your order

A big big THANK YOU all again for being so responsive to answering our BackerKit survey - Even though it may not seem like much as an individual backer, you have no idea how tremendously helpful this has been for us, when trying to keep track of all 542 of you! Especially when we are focussing on the production and all the steps to deliver a perfect product for you! We are working hard on it every day and will update you with photos from the production by the end of the month!
The last day to make final updates to your order is 15th of October 2023 - 2 month after our Kickstarter campaign ended. After this date, we will lock your reward selections and charge cards for add-on item purchases, pledge upgrades, and pre-orders. You can update your shipping address up until we lock addresses for shipping.
If you haven’t answered your survey yet, if you fill out your BackerKit survey or pay for extra shipping after the 15th of October 2023 order due date, we’ll still receive your information but your shipment may be delayed.

Readying for production - Please complete your surveys!

Dear Backers,
We trust this message finds you in good spirits as we continue with our efforts in bringing settle to life. The journey since the successful conclusion of our Kickstarter campaign has been nothing short of remarkable, and we're thrilled to share the latest developments with you.
Our team has met with the production partners to finalize every single detail of our production prototypes, checking all functions, durability and strength, and making sure that settle exceeds your expectations on form and function. We were also able to review the first dyed samples, checking them against our high standards of material quality. We are now excitedly awaiting the three master versions that will be the template for the final production of settle.
Our next step, beginning next week, is ordering the materials, that will be produced to match our specs and requirements. In order to be able to do this, we require your orders completed so that you finally receive settle in your chosen colour - charcoal, dune, sunset.
For those who haven’t found the time yet, please answer the survey within the next 72 hours, because we then need to lock the orders and advise our production partner to commence production of the various materials over the next 60 days. If you haven’t yet received the link for completing your order, or if you have any question regarding your pledge, choice of colour or shipment, we are more than happy to help, so that you are able to complete your order as quickly and easily as possible.

We're On The Move!

Dear Early Settlers,
It’s been just a week since our campaign on Kickstarter concluded, and we are already in the thick of getting things moving on the production front.
While this involves a variety of steps with respect to fabric and material procurement, we would first need to know more about your colour preference for your pledged unit(s) of settle.
To this end, we will be sending out a survey through Backerkit in the coming days that will help us to firm up quantities in the most efficient manner for production. Please note – in the event that the number of units for any specific colour (from among charcoal, dune and sunset) are not adequate for volume production, we will come back to you with the choice of colour(s) that we are in a position to go ahead with.
We are also happy to announce that our pre-order phase continues beyond Kickstarter on Backerkit, and you can place any additional orders here. Please do share this with friends, family and anyone you might know who could be interested in settle and missed out previously.
